Ross Hunter
Before joining Tablet Academy (UK), Ross spent 13 years as a Royal Air Force Mechanical Aircraft Technician, the final 5 years working with the RAF Cosford Youth and STEM team on STEAM engagement in schools.
As a principal STEAM consultant, Ross now provides STEAM Curriculum, Lesson plan, and engagement activity development services internally and for industry partners. He also works with Industry partners to manage a portfolio of national STEAM competitions for students of all ages, backgrounds and interests.
Most recently Ross has managed a national Artificial Intelligence competition on behalf of an industry partner, where Schools across the UK competed to design an AI-powered solution to a problem inspired by the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Ross is a LEGO® accredited trainer, having attended the LEGO® Academy in Billund, Denmark and is currently the head trainer for FIRST®LEGO® League training delivered in the UK on behalf of Sage.
As an MIE and a Microsoft Certified Trainer, Ross also provides Microsoft and Office365 end-user training and guidance for non-teaching staff, commercial clients, and support staff working for local and national government agencies.
