Welcome back to the FIRST® LEGO® League Webinar Series. In this webinar, we will look at; how we can use the FIRST® LEGO® League kits, booklets and Digital resources to deliver effective and engaging Challenge  Sessions.

 These sessions are provided free of charge by the IET and Tablet Academy as part of the support package developed to aid your participation in the FIRST® LEGO® League 2022 Season

Who is this workshop for:

Schools, Colleges, and organisations registered for the FIRST® LEGO League 2022 Season – Powered by the IET.

Prior knowledge required:

No, but they will benefit more if they have their FIRST® LEGO® League 2022 Superpowered and SPIKE Kits for the sessions.

Presenter

Ross Hunter

Before joining Tablet Academy (UK), Ross spent 13 years as a Royal Air Force Mechanical Aircraft Technician, the final 5 years working with the RAF Cosford Youth and STEM team on STEAM engagement in schools. 

As a principal STEAM consultant, Ross now provides STEAM Curriculum, Lesson plan, and engagement activity development services internally and for industry partners. He also works with Industry partners to manage a portfolio of national STEAM competitions for students of all ages, backgrounds and interests.

Most recently Ross has managed a national Artificial Intelligence competition on behalf of an industry partner, where Schools across the UK competed to design an AI-powered solution to a problem inspired by the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Ross is a LEGO® accredited trainer, having attended the LEGO® Academy in Billund, Denmark and is currently the head trainer for FIRST® LEGO® League training delivered in the UK on behalf of Sage.

As an MIE and a Microsoft Certified Trainer, Ross also provides Microsoft and Office365 end-user training and guidance for non-teaching staff, commercial clients, and support staff working for local and national government agencies.
