Delivering creative lessons with Adobe Creative Cloud Express celebrating the Queen´s Jubilee

Event Summary:

To celebrate the upcoming Jubilee celebrations,  TA Education has created a set of free theme-based resources to use with Creative Cloud Express for Education in classrooms. This webinar will allow teachers the opportunity to explore these resources and give them the confidence in using them in a lesson. It will also give participants a better understanding of the wide range of tools available within the Adobe Creative Cloud Express for Education Suite to design and create media objects. Lesson plans include designing a new coin and coat of arms, producing a news report, creating a timeline and creating a vivid, engaging presentation.

Why should you attend:

Adobe has a range of creative applications dedicated to creating meaningful digital content, but this webinar series will focus on Adobe Creative Cloud Express for Education, a free industry-standard tool that gives students, educators and faculty everything they need to create standout graphics, flyers, photos, presentations, web pages, and videos – and express themselves in unique and beautiful ways both inside and outside the classroom. In this session, participants will learn how easy it is to produce a variety of items using the templates and tools within Express.

What can you expect:

A deep dive into Creative Cloud Express for Education in a jargon-free and easy to understand manner. You can expect to gain an understanding of the basic principles of Adobe Creative Cloud Express for Education, and the creative techniques you can use to enhance your existing creative workflows. No previous knowledge is required. 
Who is it for: 

Teachers of 11- to 14-year-old students may find this webinar most useful. Particularly those who teach Art and Design and Technology.

Presenter

Simon Johnson

Formerly a teacher of ICT & Computing, Simon is now a principal consultant at Tablet Academy (UK). As well as being a Minecraft Global Mentor / Certified Educator, Simon is also a Microsoft Innovative Expert Educator, MIE Trainer, and Computing At School Master Teacher. Although being Secondary/High School trained, Simon also has experience working with children from the ages of 4 to 18 years old. Simon has a passion for using creative tools in teaching and has been using Minecraft in Education for the last 8 years to support gamification across the whole curriculum.
