Microsoft is teaming up with education training specialist Tablet Academy to deliver a series of events aimed at supporting school leaders and classroom educators to further embed and benefit from the features provided by Microsoft tools. The focus of these events is to help institutions looking to develop both their in-class delivery and remote programmes.
Are you interested in becoming a Microsoft Certified Educator (MCE)? Join us as we explore the key aspects of the exam, top tips for preparation and an overview of the 21st Century Learning Design course, which underpins the MCE exam. This is a summary session, designed to give people interested in taking the exam a detailed overview.
This session will cover:
The session is primarily aimed at educators since the MCE exam is rooted in pedagogy and teaching and learning principles. However, it is open to the wider education community, where there is an interest in teaching with technology.
Sam O’Leary
Sam is a former English teacher and head of the department with fifteen years of experience as a teacher and over twenty years working in education. She is passionate about the transformative impact technology can have on learning and teaching and is a keen advocate of supporting students to develop digital skills to help navigate their future.
As a senior consultant at Tablet Academy UK, Sam provides training, consultancy and advice on the adoption and best practice when embedding the use of technology for teaching and learning. She also provides training and guidance for non-teaching staff and support staff, as well as supporting local and national government agencies with digital transformation.
Sam is an MIE Expert, MIE Master Trainer, Microsoft Certified Trainer and Microsoft Certified Educator and can often be found presenting on behalf of Microsoft at national and international events.
